I just bought a 2TB Seagate external HDD(model no: STBV2000200) After a few excellent results in some benchmarks i got this message "HD Tune Pro I/O Error! I haven't used HDTune in ages since I can't trust it... I wasn't all that worried about increased wear, I just wanted to make sure I didn't mess up the garbage collection algorithms in some wierd way that the drive can't recover Furthermore, I can run individual benchmarks on everest except for the 'linear read'.
